About Me
Hi, my name is Manny DaSilva, and welcome to my official GitHub Pages website for my Computer Science Capstone ePortfolio for CS 499 at Southern New Hampshire University. I am currently a Security+ certified software engineer at Arcfield, working remotely from Bristol, Rhode Island. My background includes experience with Java, Python, C++, Rust, TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Redux, PostgreSQL, SQL, Spring, RESTful services, and GraphQL. I also have a strong foundation in Agile/Waterfall methodologies and DevOps.
My education includes an Associate of Science in Computer Programming from the Community College of Rhode Island, where I earned a 3.97 GPA, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Southern New Hampshire University, where I earned a 4.0 GPA. I also completed a one-year internship at Arcfield before transitioning into full-time employment. In addition, I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence at Southern New Hampshire University.
Beyond my technical skills, I bring strong communication and teamwork abilities that help me explain technical and non-technical concepts clearly and work effectively with teams to develop software solutions. I am always eager to continue learning new technologies and methods so I can stay current with industry best practices.
Outside of work, my hobbies include bodybuilding, basketball, playing guitar, and working with computer hardware. I value continuous learning and personal growth, both professionally and personally.
